Cody Vaughn (born May 9th 1991), in St. Louis, Missouri, known professionally as Cold Cody, is an American rapper. He was raised in California after moving from St. Louis as a newborn in a small country town called Lake Isabella. At 6 years old he moved with his father to Palmdale and then returned with his mother to Bakersfield at the age of 13. This is where he would grow up the remainder of his childhood until current day. Bouncing around from city to city and school to school he last attended West High School as a freshman before getting expelled, then dropped out the following year. That's when he knew music would be his only escape. He began freestyling and fell in love with Hip Hop culture . Cold Cody embarked on a musical career as a teenager before having his first child at the age of 20. Since then he has balanced his passion for music and parenting and dropped several singles and is currently working on his first EP release. He cites Method Man and Eminem as music influences as well as rock bands like Guns N' Roses and Metallica.
